Homogeneous mixture

Today let us start learning on types of mixtures in science.

Before we go on to learn about homogeneous mixture & heterogeneous mixtures, let us first understand what a 'mixture' is. basically said a mix is a combination of two or more elements or compounds in no particular ratio. For example Air. Air is a mix of lots of gases like carbon dioxide, nitrogen , oxygen, etc. Other examples of mixture would be  a mix of sand a solution of salt in water;  salt etc. Regarding mixtures, they must know a few more things like. Online tutors will give you free homework help for your better understanding.

 * The parts of the mixture exhibit their own physical ; chemical properties in the mixture. Like say in a mix of salt & sand, the graininess of sand & the crystalline nature of salt are retained. Also salt will show solubility in water unlike sand.
 * The parts of a mix can be basically separated using physical means like filtration, evaporation etc
 * There is no evolution or absorption of energy in the coursework of the formation of a mixture
